Hardy Diagnostics: Our Commitment

Benefits Summary

Hardy Diagnostics' vision is to be a company characterized by responsiveness, innovation, and excellence. To help achieve our vision, we strive to recruit, reward, and retain highly motivated and skilled employees. We provide a full benefits package as well as other "extras".

The cornerstone of our benefits package is our Profit Sharing Program, which is a part of our Open book Management philosophy to reward the co-workers who work hard to make the company successful.

The following is a summary of some of the benefits currently offered to the co-workers of Hardy Diagnostics:

Health Insurance*
HMO or PPO. Employee's portion is as low as $58.32 per month (27% of actual cost). HMO office visits only $10.

Prescription Medicine Plan*
As low as $10 per generic prescription.

Profit Sharing
Based on company's profitability. Paid quarterly as both a cash and 401(k) contribution. Begins after six months of full time employment (part time employees participate in 401(k) portion only). Vesting schedule applies to 401(k) portion.

401(k) Savings Plan
Company matches 25% of employee's contribution, up to 8% of income. Available for both full and part time employees after six months of employment. Vesting schedule applies.

Health Insurance*

Dental Insurance*
Employee's portion as low as $18.00 per month. Preventive care is free.

Dental Reimbursement Plan*
Up to $150 reimbursed per family per year, for all FT employees regardless of whether or not they elect to have the dental insurance.

Paid Vacation Time*
One week during the first year, two weeks during the second, third, and fourth year, and three weeks after the beginning of the fifth year.

Flexible 125 Benefit Plan*
Cafeteria Plan" to lower income taxes for out-of-pocket health and child care expenses.

Paid Sick Leave*
Pays 85% of regular pay for up to eight days per year.

Wellness Bonus*
Pays 40% of unused sick time in cash (if over 64 hours).

Holidays
Six paid holidays annually

Education Assistance
Bonus money is paid for the successful completion of classes that are job related.

Employee Assistance Program
A company chaplain is retained to offer free and confidential counseling services at any time when there is a need.

Life Insurance and Supplemental Life*
A minimum of one year's salary is provided at no cost to the employee. Additional life insurance may be purchased at a low cost. Employees may buy up to $50,000 of additional coverage with no medical questions asked.

Long-term disability*
Pays 67% of annual salary (no cost to employee).

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance*
Life insurance is doubled for accidental death.

Paid Bereavement Leave*
One day paid for bereavement of family member.

Recruitment Bonus
$100 bonus paid after 90 days for recommending someone who becomes a new employee.

Costco Membership Card
No cost to full and part time employees.

Holidays
Six paid holidays annually

Direct Deposit
Paychecks credited directly to your bank account. For full and part time employees.


Profit Sharing

It is our fundamental belief that all employees who work hard to make Hardy Diagnostics successful are entitled to share in the profits which are generated as a result of their dedication. When available, profit sharing distributions are made every quarter in the form of cash and a contribution to each employee's 401(k) account. Our commitment to "Open Book Management" encourages each employee, (known as "Profit Partners") to follow the company's progress as they enjoy the rewards of their labor.
